Founder & Osteopath
Dan founded VITAL Health after more than 11 years working as a registered Osteopath in the UK and Australia.
He combines hands-on treatment with nutrition, lifestyle and bloodwork insight to help people who haven’t found answers elsewhere. Away from the clinic, he’s a husband, dad of three, and always up for something active outdoors.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Mike is a Doctor of Chiropractic who discovered the profession after a sports injury growing up in South Africa.
He graduated from the Durban University of Technology in 2015 and has since helped patients with back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica and sports injuries. Outside the clinic, he trains regularly and is active in the Ingatestone community, and is proud to be part of the VITAL Health team.
Physiotherapist
Lewis is a physiotherapist specialising in neuropathy and nerve issues, using advanced Stimpod NMS Neuro-Modulation Therapy to reduce pain and restore function.
He builds personalised treatment plans combining hands-on physiotherapy, functional strengthening and mobility retraining, focused on lasting, real-world improvement.
Doctor of Chiropractic (MChiro)
Michaela is a fully qualified chiropractor with a Master of Chiropractic from the University of South Wales.
She combines hands-on chiropractic care with exercise and rehabilitation advice, taking a patient-centred approach that keeps people involved in their own care. Originally from the Czech Republic, she’s recently relocated to Essex to join the Chelmsford community.
Physiotherapist
Lucy Turner is a CSP-registered physiotherapist and University of Essex graduate with a strong foundation in evidence-based MSK care.
Trained in sports massage with a long-standing background in rugby, she combines clinical skill with real athletic insight to help clients move better, feel stronger and stay active long-term.
Sports Therapist
Marcus is a Sports Therapist with a First-Class Honours degree from the University of Birmingham, with experience treating professionals including West Midlands firefighters and Premier League referees.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, he’s faced his own injuries, giving him a personal understanding of recovery. He blends hands-on therapy with targeted exercises to treat sports injuries, chronic pain and post-operative recovery.
Sports Therapist
Lauren’s own back injury as a teenage trampoline competitor led her into Sports Therapy, driven by a promise to give clients better care than she once received.
She specialises in acute pain and rehabilitation, and is also VITAL Health’s Pilates instructor and menopause specialist, helping clients stay active, mobile and pain-free.
